Who can become a funder?

Whether you are an individual, embassy, government department (such as Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, or Educational Affairs), private company, faith-based group, philanthropic foundation, or diaspora community — there is a place for you in our circle of change-makers.
We honor all forms of support — material and immaterial — as expressions of Ubuntu and a commitment to the Pan-African future we are building together.

How to get involved:

Funders and partners can contribute to TYSA’s mission in a variety of meaningful and impactful ways:

• 💰Financial contributions — once-off or recurring — to directly support our programs and scholars
• 🎓Scholarship sponsorships and funding for legal aid, mentorship, or educational bridging programs
• 📚In-kind donations such as books, educational materials, school uniforms, digital devices, or office equipment
• 🚌Vehicles or transport assistance for field work, scholar commuting, or documentation services
• 👩🏽‍⚖️Professional services such as legal expertise, counselling, skills training, or educational consulting
• 🎉Sponsoring graduation ceremonies for Grade R learners or matriculants, celebrating key milestones in a child’s journey
• 🏠Donations of land, buildings, or property — to be transformed into schools, safe spaces, documentation clinics, or community learning hubs
• 🤝Partnering on community outreach, advocacy campaigns, or regional Pan-African initiatives that amplify children’s voices
